Wellness Treatments
„Relaxation, balance & prevention“
Our wellness treatments aim to restore harmony to your body, mind, and spirit, helping you regain strength. The treatments offered in a pleasant atmosphere complement our holistic treatment concept. With Chinese Tuina massage, cupping, moxibustion, and ear reflexology using Vaccaria seeds, you can strengthen your immune system, improve your well-being, and prevent health problems.
Since wellness treatments fall into the area of prevention, they are exclusively available to self-paying clients.

Massage
A specialized massage technique is used to stimulate blood circulation, which can relieve tension and alleviate pain. Classic massage offers not only physical but also psychological benefits. The targeted touch promotes the release of endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good hormones, leading to an improved mood and a sense of relaxation. If the patient wishes, certain areas of the body can be prioritized, such as the shoulder and neck area for acute headaches or a "stiff neck".
Tuina Massage
Tuina is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This approach takes into account the holistic nature of the human being, so treatment extends beyond just the body. It is rooted in the yin-yang philosophy and the theory of the five phases of change, which influence specific meridians. The term "Tuina" is derived from the Chinese words "Tui" (to push) and "Na" (to grasp). Tuina massage involves treating the body with oil using various stroking, pushing, pulsing, pressing, and rolling techniques.
Tuina massage is used to relieve pain, maintain health, reduce negative stress, regulate the body’s overall functional system, and promote the flow of Qi through the body’s meridians. It brings body and mind into harmony and has a positive effect on the immune system.

Moxibustion
Heat therapy with moxa is a component of needle and burning therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Moxa therapy stimulates acupuncture points by applying heat. The heat penetrates the muscles, stimulates blood circulation, and according to TCM, affects the internal organs via the meridians.
The term "moxibustion" is derived from the Japanese plant name "Mogusa" (Latinized as moxa, corresponding to mugwort) and the Latin root "buro", meaning "to burn". Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris L.) is a medicinal and aromatic plant. The leaves of the plant are dried, cleaned, and used for treatment either as a loose herb or in a finely crushed form resembling a cotton-like powder.
Moxibustion is used to treat illnesses caused by cold, to strengthen general weakness and circulatory disorders, as well as for prevention. It can enhance health and improve performance.
Cupping (Cup Therapy)
Cupping has been used since ancient times in all major cultures and medical systems as a skin-irritating therapy with both local and reflexive effects. During a cupping treatment, various hollow vessels (typically glass cups) are placed on the skin. A vacuum is created, causing the skin and subcutaneous tissue to be drawn deeply into the vessel, usually resulting in a pronounced subcutaneous hematoma. This technique loosens tissue, relieves muscle tension, alleviates pain, regulates and strengthens the immune system, and stimulates blood and lymph flow.

Ear Reflexology with Vaccaria Seeds
Ear reflexology is based on the teachings of TCM and Ayurvedic knowledge. The trigger points on the ear are used to treat complaints in the body. The various acupressure points on the ear symbolize the organs, the nervous system or as reflex zones for pain. Pressure point stimulation is applied using Vaccaria seeds. The plant "Vaccaria segetalis", also known as "cowherb", is widespread in Eurasia. Its seeds have been used in Chinese medicine for several centuries. Ear reflexology is employed to relieve pain, treat muscle cramps, alleviate blockages, and address issues such as back pain, rheumatism, hormonal imbalances, dizziness, listlessness, and fatigue.
Kinesio Tape
Kinesio tape is a longitudinally elastic tape. It is waterproof, permeable to air, and modeled on the elasticity of our skin. This tape behaves like a second skin and is comfortable to wear. With every movement, the taped body part experiences a lymphatic massage. By influencing skin sensors, muscles are activated, and pain is relieved.
