Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy (Krankengymnastik, KG) is a form of specific training and the external application of therapeutic techniques aimed at improving, maintaining, or restoring the body’s ability to move and function. Targeted strengthening and mobilization exercises can alleviate and even eliminate pain.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points are pressure-sensitive areas in muscles that can cause pain radiating to other parts of the body. They are treated with a specialized technique and deep massage. Trigger points can develop due to muscle overuse, tension from accidents or falls, and can also affect nerves, leading to symptoms such as tingling, burning, numbness, and hypersensitivity. Trigger point therapy is an effective method for treating these symptoms.

Classic Massage Therapy

In a classic massage, the muscles and ligaments are addressed with targeted grips. It is used to treat musculoskeletal disorders and for the follow-up care of muscle and other injuries. The aim of this treatment is to relieve pain, stimulate circulation and metabolism, and promote relaxation and stretching.

Connective Tissue Massage

Connective tissue massage targets the muscles, muscle fasciae, epidermis, and subcutis using localized mechanical techniques. By kneading, tapping, rubbing, and stroking the skin, blood flow to the muscles is stimulated, and tension is relieved. This treatment addresses disorders caused by overuse, metabolic imbalances, and sports injuries.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle therapeutic method promoting lymphatic drainage and reducing swelling. It is used in particular for lymphoedema, as well as post-operative and traumatic oedema. It can also support the healing process following certain surgical procedures. MLD can reduce swelling and feelings of tightness, improve lymphatic drainage and, as a result, promote well-being and mobility.

Fango Therapy

Fango is a form of thermotherapy using heated Fango packs. The targeted application of heat promotes muscle relaxation, relieves pain and tension, and supports mobility. Fango can be used particularly for musculoskeletal conditions and to prepare the muscles and tissues for massage and mobilization.
